I'm back amongst civilization, with internet access, at long last.
The trip was fun. The villages were quaint and quirky and interesting. The temples were different. The scenery was pretty. The heat was insane and the first rains were wonderful. Village life was slow, relaxed, with too little to be done and too steeped in religion and superstition for my comfort. It was great for a short trip though-- a very cultural trip, as Dad put it. It was too short really, but at the same time, I'm more than glad to be back home where I have my internet and my handphone and what not. Talk about being a slave to technology.
Although I can't say it's been a good first day at home. Received some shockingly sad news and didn't communicate too well with people who matter and checked my results (need I say more?) and now I have to return to hall to face the piles of work waiting for me again... a very average day indeed.
Although I suppose work will take my mind off things in general and then I have the weekend to look forward to- with the T20 WC starting off. I've created a fantasy team on Cricinfo just for the fun of it. Let's see how that fares.
The brother has gone jogging and I really should have gone with him, except today, all I feel like doing is sleeping. Motivation, come back please.
Will upload photos on facebook soon, once I sort them out.
In the meantime, a number of people have told me that everytime they see RP Singh, they think of me. Yay, I guess? Lol :)
I be going now.
