Today the EHOCers COOKED. Which makes it the first time I've officially cooked in hall. Haha. It was fun! I mean, it was chaotic, but fun. Marcus, Ze Peng, John, Xue Wei and I went to buy the ingredients first- we decided to make fried rice with side dishes of luncheon meat dipped in egg and fried and stir fried veggies. We also bought lime concentrate for a drink and watermelon for post dinner.
By the time we got back to hall it was close to 7 and we started cooking immediately. Major chaos, they were right when they said too many cooks spoil the broth. But in any case, we got things done and the food turned out pretty good. Although we kinda had to fry the rice in 4 batches because the frying pan was very small.
Finally we ate and finished just about half an hour ago. Time for EHOC supper now, during which I can't possibly eat because I'm so full >< Will put up pics on facebook soon!
